Box maker's certificate
A printed stamp, usually on a bottom flap, in which the box maker certifies that the box meets a carrier classification rule.
In practice
In the US the rules are NMFC Item 222 (truck) and UFC Rule 41 (rail). The stamp names the maker, the location and the grade the box was built to. Packgent has not yet published the rule limits because they could not be checked against the current tariff.
