Auto bottom
A box bottom that is die-cut and partly glued at the factory, so it locks closed by itself when the flat box is squared up.
In practice
Also called a crash-lock or snap-lock bottom. It saves taping time at the packing bench but costs more per box than plain slotted flaps.
